Some disasters catch you by surprise...

Maggie Spencer thought that she'd be riding out Hurricane Matilda safe, dry, and in another zip code.

Justin Doucet thought he'd be working search and rescue for the storm with the usual set of faces.

But when the last road out of town floods, sending Maggie to the Union Bayou emergency shelter as the hurricane moves through the area, they realize the change in plans is going to be more than a short stay. Now they're working together to corrall cats, rescue neighbors, and fill sandbags, all while sharing very close quarters. But Justin already broke Maggie's heart once by leaving town, and falling for him a second time has all the makings of a disaster.

Brock Davis is absolutely sure that his plans for Union Bayou, Louisiana, are the only way forward for the flood victims of Hurricane Matilda. In fact, he's so sure, that he's staking his whole career on his plan to buyout the flooded properties in town. But not everyone is in agreement. One bossy blond is dead set on ruining all of his best laid plans...personal and professional.

Lise Rowan is standing in the wreckage of her life when trouble shows up. Striding into town with money, promises, and all of the answers, Brock Davis' plan for a buyout seems like the end of her small town. Lise is no stranger to disasters and has plans of her own. And succumbing to the charm of an irritating stranger who looks great in a suit definitely isn't part of her plan.
